Loft Byron Bay has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join the team! With a prime location on Jonson Street featuring beach views and a gorgeous venue fit out, this is an opportunity to join a dynamic team in an exciting, high pressure environment with a great focus on teamwork. Our venue has an amazing cocktail bar, contemporary Australian food, all within a stunning, warm, & beachy environment.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a results driven, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast paced environment and holds the following:
- Proven success in working a diverse, multi-faceted kitchen
- Experience in managing staff
- A flexible, open-minded and team player attitude
- A passion for providing quality food and service
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Australian Citizenship or be a Permanent Resident
Applicants also holding their Food Safety Supervisor Certification will be highly regarded.
