COOKS & KITCHEN-HANDS
We are expanding our team and are looking for hard working and enthusiastic Cooks and Kitchen-hands to join the kitchen team.
To apply for this role you must:
- Be available to work lunch and dinner service
- Possess basic cooking skills
- Enjoy cooking good food
- Work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Work well in a team
- Able to display an understanding of food related health and safety procedures
- Australian Citizenship or be a Permanent Resident
CHEF DE PARTIE
We are expanding our team as we head into Summer and are looking for a hard working and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team.
To apply for this role you must:
- Be available to work 5 night service shifts per week
- Be a qualified chef or have 3 – 5 years experience
- Work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Work well in a team
- Able to display an understanding of food related health and safety procedures
- Australian Citizenship or be a Permanent Resident

FLOOR SECTION WAITER
The ideal Loft Byron Bay employee will have:
- A drive to hit sales targets and receive incentives
- Great customer service skills
- Hospitality experience
- Food & beverage product knowledge
- An outgoing and enthusiastic nature
- The determination to work hard
- The ability to work under pressure across both the Bar and Floor departments
- A good understanding of the meaning of ‘teamwork’
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry in a similar role.
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for cocktails, beer, wine, food!
- Unwavering desire for delivering an exceptional and professional experience for every guest.
- An ability to communicate effectively with the team as well as to lead by example and inspire.
- Must have availability 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends.
- Must hold a current RSA
- Australian Citizenship or be a Permanent Resident
